Another lost tooth

Well today we ended up losing the 2nd top tooth in two days.  She looks so much different.

Our joke is all she wants for Christmas are her two front teeth.

Teething Pulling

So Aunt Jamie and Uncle Keith showed up in Poky today.  They bought Rachel a bed light so she could read in bed instead of on the floor with the hallway light on.  This is her birthday present from them.  While they were here though Rachel got up and talked with them.  Keith asked her if he could pull her tooth and she was like sure.  She wouldn't let Scott try but she was perfectly fine with Keith trying.  Keith didn't want to hurt her so Jamie decided to try.  Jamie was the winner of getting the tooth out.  She felt so bad after pulling it though.
Rachel getting a hug while stopping the bleeding with a paper towel.

This was how Jamie felt when she was all done.  She was crying but Rachel was just fine.

What she looks like after the tooth was pulled out.  Different that's for sure.  Along with a photobomb by Keith.
She was so happy in bed.  She had a reading light and one tooth less and going to get money from the tooth fairy.  It was a late night though before she actually got to sleep.

Someone's Hungry

Some days I can never believe how much food this little girl can pack away when we eat.  We were trying to put gluten back in her system to see how she would do.  That's why she has stuffing on her plate.

Three pieces of ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and two peaches.

She eat the whole thing.  She even licked the plate clean but I caught this picture before she did that.  She even wanted to have dessert when she was done.  Crazy that this little girl can put that much away but she does every once in awhile.

Caught Reading

Rachel was supposed to be in bed.  Scott and I could hear something and we went to investigate.  This is what we saw.  Rachel sitting on the floor with the hallway light on so she could read Junie B. Jones.  She laughs as she reads and it's so funny to listen to.
Yes she is busted for not being in bed but I'm so glad she loves to read.

Sled riding

It actually warmed up a little bit today and so we decided it would be fun to take the kids over to Ellis and ride on the sleds.  We tried the plastic one but it didn't work that good so we had to go with Damian's tube that he bought.  It was an awesome tube.  Rachel and U'ilani loved it.  Tyler loved sitting on the four wheeler with Uncle Scott.

Paul's boys chasing the tube and four wheeler.

These two could have stayed on this the whole time if we weren't letting everyone have a chance.

Of course Paul, Damian and myself had to try out the tube.  This was Damian after he got done.

If you want to see the video I took of our fun.   Check it out here at this link:

New Years Eve

This year since we are back in Poky we decided that we would hit both families New Year's Eve party.  So we headed out to American Falls to Scott's Grani's house first.  We got there and Grani had made four pans of enchilada's.  They were really good enchilada's.  We took with us some little smokies, some meatballs, and the man dip that Scott really wanted, and my pumpkin logs.  There was so much food there with desserts, chips, and dips.
Here are some of us eating dinner and talking.

At one point Scott and Lexi had a little food fight with the cupcakes.  I'm not sure how it all got started but they both ended up with frosting on their noses.  We just hung out for a bit and then started to play games.  The first game we played was with a nylon and balloons.  Tia had the three oldest wear the nylons on their heads.  So that would be Grani, Bop & Brad.
Here is Grani with her nylon on her head.  We of course had to document it.

 Bop with his.
Grandpa Pooh but I forgot to get one of until it was over.

What the three looked like when we were done.  We had to fill balloons and then stuff them in the ends of each leg.  Jamie and I had Grani and we were able to do three balloons per side because we blew them up big.  Scott and Ty had Brad and you can tell they went for small but a whole bunch.  Tracy and Keith had Bop.  They just did whatever they could get in.  It was fun and so funny to see them afterwards.
The little girls of course loved it and wanted to try them on also.

We then played the game Quelf.  It took a little bit of time but of course when people started to have to do things that's when it got interesting.  Here is Keith riding Jamie.  Oh we were laughing so hard because Tyson kept turning the timer over and Keith didn't know so he kept right on doing his quest.
At 9:30 we left and headed back to Pocatello to go to Paul's party.

This is just part of the group.  Most the little kids were downstairs watching TV.  We hung out and talked and played a couple of games before midnight.

Midnight toast.  Here's to another year.  Welcome 2016!!!
