Milestones

So this week we have had some milestones reached by Rachel.
On Wednesday March 16th Rachel fell out of her crib because she didn't want to go to bed and decided she should just climb out but ended up actually falling out.

On Friday March 18th she actually climbed out of her crib without falling this time. I watched her do it. We thought that she would be to afraid to do it again since she fell the first time but I guess that didn't matter.

On Saturday March 19th she was in her room and the door was shut. Usually she will just scream for one of us to open it for her but this time she was actually able to just get out herself. So I guess when she shuts herself in different rooms we don't have to worry about her yelling anymore because she will just get herself out.

She likes marshmallow peeps and chocolate cover marshmallow eggs. Now we buy doubles so that I can still get some of my favorite Easter Candies.

She can say the word "Delicious"

As we were playing blocks tonight with her she just started to say "Gosh Darn it." Scott looked at me and I just laughed because he had just said it a few minutes earlier and she was saying it like she had said it forever. Scott and I just burst out laughing because it was so funny.

Massive Wind Storm

We had a massive wind storm in Boise yesterday. We knew we would end up with some tumble weeds in our yard. This has become a normal occurrence for us since we moved here. We haven't had the left side of our yard fenced in yet. We have them coming this week actually to put in the fence so its quite ironic that we got this wind storm and ended up with this many tumble weeds. I actually had just cleaned the yard of them about a week ago. Scott was just shocked and couldn't believe it. I just had to laugh about it. So this is what's left in the backyard after the wind storm. It's actually a little bit worst because we took these pictures about 1/2 way through the storm. There is no break at all across the fence now. It's completely covered with tumble weeds.

Some of the tumble weeds that got stuck between the recycle bin and the garbage can. Scott had to get out the rack so we could move them so we could get out the door.

Unfortunately they were back again. They were taller than Rachel and she just stood at the sliding door wondering what the heck was happening.
The Side Yard

Most of the fence - Anyone need a tumble weed?

The space on the right is now completely full of tumble weeds.
There is no seeing the fence at all now.

The view out the side living room window.

Check out another view out the window.

Did you lose your tree? Yep you did and now it's in our yard. Please come get it.

Rachel's swing set stopped it from going any further.

We decided we probably better not let it get any more momentum to hit the other fence. Check out Scott's look. he he he He is actually getting ready to throw it over the fence.

Cupboards

We have one cupboard in our kitchen that we have nothing in. So needless to say this has turned into Rachel's cupboard. She can do with it whatever she wants too. Well on Sunday she was trying to get a box out of the back of it and this is what I found.

She actually got further in but I couldn't click fast enough to get it. She had only her little elmo's sticking out. So funny to see her just kicking them as she's trying to get back out.

Getting out of the cupboard.

Just hanging out playing in the cupboard.

Backwards Coat

The other day Rachel was putting her coat on but was doing it backwards. She has been so good about always putting it on correctly that she was a little bit confused as to what happened. We almost had it zipped up but she started to realized her hood was on her face and she didn't like it. So this is just before she gets it off.

Elmo's World

So we have found a tv show that Rachel will actually watch and not move the whole time its on. That is Elmo's World. She even sings the theme song to it. She's always asking for Elmo's World. Since it's only on for twenty minutes everyday we decided that we would by some of the video's. I can see were DVR would come in handy on this but we don't have it so we will just stick to the DVD's. I let her watch one DVD a day. So today she wanted to watch it again. So I pulled out the portable DVD player and let her just sit in the bean bag and watch it. She is so funny to watch because she just is so intent on the show. I love to listen to her laugh as she is watching it. I took a couple pictures of her just watching it. She didn't even move as I took these pictures, she totally ignored me.Didn't even bother to look at me while I took this picture.

eFoods 404 Serving Box

Scott and I have started working on a new adventure. We are distributors for eFoods. It is a food storage company that you just add water to the entree's and the soups. We ordered the 404 serving box and this is the size of the box. Its crazy how small the box is. Anyone can actually store this in their house or apartment. It's really amazing. If you want info please call me and I help you to start getting your food storage bulked up. This is the only way I can see that I will ever get my food storage up to where it needs to be.

If you lay Rachel down the box is her height.

Here is the box with the four smaller boxes in it.

Cafe Rio

So we went to eat at Cafe Rio and brought it home because Scott was sleeping. I gave Rachel some of everything and she liked the chips and then took the Tomatila ranch and started to just drink it like it was a drink. It was so funny that she would start guzzling the cup of dressing. You can't tell very much in this picture but she has a ranch mustache.

Yogurt in Hair

So a couple of weeks ago I headed to St. Anthony to be with a friend in her time of need so Scott was with Rachel for a day. He called me and told me about this incident. I was so happy to see that he took a picture of what happened. He told me that he put Rachel up to the table and gave her a cup of yogurt went to the fridge to get him something to eat and when he turned around this is what he found. Rachel had dumped her yogurt on top of her hair and was running the yogurt through her piggy tails. My first question was please tell me it wasn't the blueberry yogurt and he said yep it was. After that I of course was laughing so hard because she has never done this before. Needless to say the next day when I had her she tried to put her applesauce through her hair also. I don't know where she got this idea but it's pretty funny. She just keeps us laughing.
Check out the glob of yogurt still in the top of her hair. It totally looks like she just got out of the bathtub how wet her hair is.

Scott's Work Birthday Party for Rachel

Scott's work wanted to give Rachel a party since we got Rachel. So on Valentine's Day we went out to Scott's work and they gave Rachel a little birthday party since her birthday was the day before. She had so much fun.

Rachel is of course standing on the chair eating pretzels

Scott putting the little Mickey Ears on Rachel's head.

Minnie Mouse birthday cake. Homemade and so yummy. Thanks Sarah!!!

Rachel ate the nose of Minnie Mouse and this is what she ended up looking like when she finished eating her piece of cake. She had black all over her clothes also but luckily we were able to get it out of her brand new outfit.
