Dance Class Spot Light

So today was Rachel's day to be the spotlight at dance class.  She got up this morning and picked out everything she wanted to take to dance.

 She was so excited to take everything in her "trunk" to show her friends.  Here is blue bear one of her favorite stuffed animals.

 This was her showing them all her temple picture and how she is so happy she is sealed to her parents.

 I don't know why this one is so blurry but the last thing she took was her new yarn blanket that her Grandma Tracy made for her. 

After class her teacher came up to me and said she was so impressed that Rachel got up there and did it all by herself.  Most of the parents had helped the other girls.  Rachel is so independent she would have told me to sit back down anyways if I had gotten up to try and help her.

Idaho Steele Head Hockey Game

Scott had a work meeting today but afterwards his company had bought two box seats at the Idaho Steele Head Game tonight.  Scott and I ended up going on a date.  It was actually pretty fun.  We went to Costa Vida for dinner.  We then walked across the Grove Plaza and went to Century Link Arena for the game.  We got there pretty early and so we stayed down in the lower bowl and watched the players warming up.  That was fun but after watching how hard the puck was being hit at the walls I was glad it wasn't me as a goalie.  The box seats were awesome.  They had all kinds of food to eat.  The nacho's were awesome and the desserts were giant size but oh so good. 

We are excited.

We of course lost the game 4-0 but it was fun since it was our 1st Hockey game ever.

New Door Color

I had been talking to Scott about wanting to paint the outside door black.  He wasn't sure that would be a good idea.  So when the new monster house on the last row went in and they had a black painted door he decided to get on board with me.  So we painted our front door black on Saturday.  I was able to get new vinyl on the door also.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out.

Building with Rachel

Scott and Rachel love to play with her building stuff.  She was given this Dora building set and one night they hung out building together.
