1).  Has learned the letter A, B, C, and D in preschool
2).  New favorite movie is Sleeping Beauty.  She knows almost all the words to the whole show.  She does know all the songs in it.
3).  Knows the 1st and 2nd Article of Faith and is working on the 3rd one.
4).   Conversations this month with Rachel:
       R: I'm sweeping the table.
Dad:  Why are you sweeping the table?
R: Because that's what's written in my story.
Yep someone might watch just a little to much Super Why

R:  Grandma Tracy doesn't like Coke.
Mom:  I think she does like to have a Coke once in awhile.
R:  No she doesn't she only drinks Grandma Tracy juice(this is Kiwi/Strawberry Crystal Light that Rachel drank all of while we were out camping at City of the Rocks) and is the only thing Rachel is drinking right now everyday.

As Scott was leaving for work the other day:
R:  Do a good job so sick people don't get sick again.
 "C" Words

 "D" Words

Dog starts with a D.  This was a really cute craft.  She was so proud of it and carried it around for days and was happy when she was able to show her dad.

Princess

Anyone who knows Rachel knows that she is really into being a princess and dressing up like one.  Well she had broken her princess shoes and Scott reminded me that we probably had another pair in the chest that we had bought last Christmas.  So I went up to her room and I actually was able to find another pair of shoes, 2 new wands, a new Crown, and an outfit.  Here is our princess:
Cool I have a new wand.  Oh I have 2 new wands.  She was so exited about that.

Rachel and I went out to dinner this night also and this is what she wore.  She wouldn't take it off and I decided it wasn't worth the battle.  Everyone at the restaurant loved her and just fussed over her the whole time we were there.

Rachel's Sillyness

Somehow when we got home from Church Rachel's tights didn't end up back in her drawer.  After I got her ready for bed she was playing with her tights.  All the sudden she did this:

Yep she put them on her head.  I have no idea where she saw this but she was having fun swinging them around her head.  I was just laughing.  Then:
She put them all the way on her face like a bank robber.  I was laughing.  I'm also laughed because with the flash on the camera you can actually see all the features of her face even though when I was sitting there with her I couldn't see through the tights.  She is a silly little girl and makes me laugh.

Music and Movement Class

I put Rachel in a music and movement class because she loves to sing and dance so much.  Here are some pictures of her at class.

 Moving around with the streamers.

One of the looks while they were Going on a Bear Hunt.

 Bear Hunting still.

Moving to the music with scarves.

Rachel's teacher Krista or as Rachel knows her Sister Carroll.  They do the Ram Sam Sam song and walk around with bean bags on the head, shoulders and other parts of their bodies.  Rachel's actually really good about being able to balance her bean bag on her head and walk around.  I was amazed.

The apples teasing Mr. Slinky worm.  Such a cute idea. Krista has a sock that looks like a worm and each of the kids get to be an apple and then the worm comes and eats the apples away from them.

Playing with the parachute.  Rachel's getting lots better at understanding the parachute and how it works.
So the songs for the month of September were: Ram Sam Sam, Wheels on the Bus, Bear Hunt, instrument song(not sure the official name), Mr. Slinky worm.
