These are her friends. Rachel, Crystal and Aubree. These three like to talk and play at school instead of getting their work done. :-)
The first thing they do on all their field trips is sing their hello song. It's so cute.
This was our instructor for the day. She was really good. She talked at the kids level so that they could understand the cycle of flowers.
They got popcorn as a snack to show that sometimes you can eat plants. She was excited about this. She loves, loves, loves popcorn.
They learned about bugs and why they are important to plants. She got to hold a rolley polley. She lost the first one but got to get another one out of the container.
In this section of the gardens they looked for all kinds of natural things. Pine Cones, bark, tree branches etc. Anything they could find that would have been from a tree or a plant.
This is the brand new tree house that over looks part of the gardens. As you can tell the kids had so much fun running around being crazy on it. I was sad that the gardens weren't in bloom. We saw mostly just green plants and nothing blooming.
They had the Coe fish pond. I had to watch Rachel really closely to make sure she didn't go swimming with them like she tries to do at Bop's house.
The last thing we saw was this petrified log. She decided she would pose for me. We then headed to Chick-Fil-A for lunch with Amy and Aubree Coe. We were able to let the girls play some more in the playground and then that allowed for Amy and myself to have adult time. It was fun. A great day of learning and playing.
