Friends Family Reunion

(Can you tell Scott hadn't had much sleep)

Okay I totally know we are so far behind on our blog but we are going to do a quick update to try and get caught up. So in July we actually were able to take our camper out for the first time since we have moved to Boise. So the middle of July took us to Malad Summit Campground. We had never been there but it was actually a really nice place to go. Scott got off work Friday Morning at 7:00 and so I had him sleep until noon and then we hit the road. We ended up getting up there around 5:30. Scott had to maneuver the trailer into this little spot but he did an awesome job with it. The family reunion went really well. My friend Kathy and Wade were in charge this year so that meant everyone who was friends and immediate family to Kathy and Wade were there to help with everything. That's exactly what we did was jumped in and helped where we could. The theme this year was "These are a few of my Favorite Things!" They were supposed to remember things from the family reunions of earlier days. It was fun to hear the stories and see some of the songs they used to sing. The food was awesome again this year. I played some folf until my Frisbee broke so I ended up splitting the play with Chris Wehrli. It was fun. We also had a treasure hunt for the little kids. Scott was in charge of helping with that and he ended up having to actually carry a couple of the really little kids who's ended up on it without parents. He was tired when he got done with that. We had an auction that brought in more money then ever before. The talent show was really good this year and kept us all laughing. We left early afternoon on Sunday to head back to Boise. It was nice to actually go camping again. We still didn't get that great of gas mileage towing the camper but Scott was happy with the fact he had power to actually tow it. So I'm glad he is happy about his new truck. We didn't take to many pictures but here are the few that we did get.

Scott and Me getting our picture taken. Just after we showed up and got all set up. We had a little down time the first day.
What our camp area kind of looked like. We were trying to find shade but still be able to talk with everyone. It was fun to just hang out.

I thought this was funny. I was trying to take a picture of Drummer but she thought she should take a picture of me. So we took pictures of each other. HA HA HA

Doing a skit at the talent show. One that used to be done years ago by these women. It was awesome. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Scott hadn't gotten to sleep very much and so he snuck out and took a little snoozer and I caught him napping.

Some of the men packing up the trailer with all the equipment after the family reunion was over.
