Rachel is patiently waiting for us to head to the church.
The ecstatic family.
The baptism "Girl". We are so proud of Hallee's decision to be baptized.
This is what we did to keep Rachel quite while we waited. We ended up having to wait for awhile because one of the bishopric members forgot about the baptism. After the baptism she then got confirmed. This time we worked with Rachel enough that we didn't have her yelling down the hall that she was 8 and wanted to be baptized now. She now understands she has to wait to be 8 and her dad will baptize her. After the baptism we all headed to change clothes and headed to Jamie's house to have lunch and a party for Hallee's Birthday.
The Birthday Girl.
We ended up having lunch and it was fried chicken that Keith made in a dutch oven. He also made some dutch oven potatoes, we had salads and then Jamie made a sweet Zebra cake.
This is the cake that Jamie made the night before. It was really cool how she made it. I think it turned out awesome. It was great tasting and so moist.
Rachel wasn't much into watching Hallee opening presents and so this is what she did most of the time.
Playing in the pool. This was the favorite spot for her. She spent most of the time in there by herself. She was as content as content could be.
She came out of the pool for a little bit and played with some of the ribbon from Hallee's presents. She's a funny little girl.
Scott's mom got pictures of all the grandkids and this is what Rachel's look like. We got her out of the pool but she was cold of course. We ended up changing all the kids back into their clothes and while I was in the house and Scott ended up doing things with the boys someone came into the house and told me that my daughter was in the pool again.
Yep she was in the pool and she was "Buck Naked". There was no way I could be mad at her about it because we told her she wasn't allowed to get her clothes wet in the pool. So what did she do. Yep she got naked so that her clothes wouldn't get wet. We laughed pretty hard about it and then put her back in her swimsuit.
Some of us hanging out. From left to right Eileen Bunn, Grani, Scott, Susan, Tracy, Brad, Tyson, Tia, Craig Bunn.
It was a fun weekend and we were happy to be able to see everyone since it had been at Rachel's birthday party that we had last seen everyone.
