Allergy Testing

Rachel seems to be getting sick alot more lately and so the last time we were in the pediatrician's office for her being sick we decided it would be worth it to have a referral from her pediatrician to see an allergist.  So we took her to see Dr. Palmer.  She wasn't really thrilled about going to see the Dr. We ended up having to wait three months to get in to see him and then while we were there we had to wait about forty minutes in the room before someone came in to see us. 

 This is her bored while we waited.  She's pretty cute.  Love how she just totally posed like this while we waited.

 We talked to the Dr. about the different things that have happened with her breaking out in rashes and getting congested quite often.  He said he wanted to do a panel of allergy test and we said that would be fine.

 

They poked her with 2 panels of eight different things.  She cried and I had to hold her so they could get this done.  I wasn't expecting how they did it but at least it was only once that they had to do this.

 The nurse came in to check on her and she would say, "Don't touch it."  It was cute.  The nurse than gave her this little bottle of bubbles and we played with those while we waited the ten minutes to see what she is allergic too.

Blowing, blowing, and blowing nonstop until it was time to be done.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE........................Allergic to DOGS. 

So crazy because Scott and I had been talking about possibly getting her a dog because she loves them.  The Dr. said it would probably be wise not to get one any time soon.  Also if we do get one we would have to get a hypoallergenic dog.  So totally crazy that she was around dogs for so long and she's actually allergic to them.
